Settings controls how Spectra appears, how check-in prompts behave, whether reminders are scheduled, and how your spectra are organised.
Display options
- Show average marker: Shows the average position marker where available.
- Show current marker: Shows the latest position marker on spectrum rows.
Prompts
- Show check-in prompt on launch: Opens a prompt automatically when spectra are due.
- Prompt with: Choose whether each prompt starts from the neutral value or the latest saved value.
Reminders
You can set reminders to Off, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. Weekly reminders let you choose a day of the week. Monthly reminders let you choose a day from 1 to 28. If reminders are enabled, Spectra schedules one local notification asking you to review your spectra.
Apple Intelligence
If available on your device, you can enable Apple Intelligence for optional on-device narrative insights. These insights interpret your spectrum data without requiring cloud-based analysis.
Premium
Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks custom spectra and category management.
Organisation
- Manage Categories: Add, rename, reorder, or delete categories. This requires Premium.
- Manage Spectrum Visibility: Hide spectra from the main app views or show hidden spectra again.
iCloud sync
The iCloud Sync section shows whether Spectra is syncing with iCloud or using local storage only, along with the current iCloud account status.
