Traverse Free keeps the core outliner useful and keeps your work accessible. Traverse Pro unlocks unlimited outline management and the more advanced ways of structuring, filtering, and generating outlines.
Included in Free
- Edit the built-in Welcome and Tutorial outlines.
- Edit up to two custom outlines.
- View and navigate every existing outline in any view.
- Search with the text filter.
- Export existing outlines.
Included in Pro
- Create, import, and edit unlimited outlines.
- Generate a starting outline with Apple Intelligence where available.
- Add and edit custom attributes.
- Filter by task state, type, marks, custom checkboxes, and lookup values.
- Use Focus mode.
What happens if Pro is not active
Traverse keeps work accessible rather than hiding it. The most recently available custom outlines remain editable within the Free limit, and other custom outlines become read-only.
Read-only outlines can still be opened, browsed, searched, and exported. Their nodes, notes, attributes, and structure cannot be changed until Pro is restored.
Purchases and subscriptions
Pro access is handled through the App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple, and Traverse checks StoreKit to see whether a valid Pro purchase or subscription is active.
Restoring Pro
If Pro should already be active, open Settings > Pro and use Restore Purchases. Traverse will ask the App Store to refresh your current entitlements.
